The Middle East Book Fair and Conference

Reviews the development of the Middle East Book Fair, held in Bahrain since 1982. Details are given of numbers attending and exhibiting and opinions regarding the success of the fairs — commercial and otherwise — recorded. A library conference has been held in association with each of the four book fairs that have taken place to date. A complete list of the papers presented at these conferences is included.
